The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has joined the “Nordic Roadshow” event series, organized by Aviareps, to promote Azerbaijan’s tourism potential across Scandinavian countries.

The promotional events were held in Stockholm (Sweden), Helsinki (Finland), Oslo (Norway), and Copenhagen (Denmark), bringing together around 50 local tourism companies and media representatives at each location.

The program featured B2B meetings with representatives from tourism boards, airlines, international hotel brands, and cruise companies, where participants received insights into Azerbaijan’s culture, history, nature, and tourism offerings.

This marks the first participation of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board in an event dedicated to the Scandinavian market.

Between January and October 2024, a total of 6,898 visitors from Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark traveled to Azerbaijan, representing a 24% increase compared to the same period last year.
